Building an NHS fit for the future, with innovation.
I went to University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust last night for an event by Bournemouth University around building an NHS that is fit for the future.
There were various stakeholders in the room from the healthcare sectors, academics and patient representation there but I think I was the only one as a business.
We need more than just innovation in treatments, ward equipment, and drugs which are all pretty reactive.
I did ask a question to the panel about the role and responsibilities of businesses in the upfront preventative action, as to reduce any future impact to the health care system from staff. It also means the country could have a workforce that is more able and available.
