Innovation and Women in Intelligence
I had hosted the author Dr Helen Fry as part of a Bournemouth book festival back in 2018, and it was a pleasure to see her again speaking at “re:connect lite” event at the BattleLab.
Although she only spoke for 30 minutes, we could have sat engrossed for hours.
This is just a little video of Helen explaining the contribution of women as part of the intelligence services in the world wars and a glorious story of how women went undetected, as the Germans assumed they were not capable of anything, but they were able to send information back to the British intelligence services using a very innovative approach.
